Hi, I'm Vicky.

I'm a strategic operations and events expert, and I have been running my freelance business, Your Curator, for over seven years.

I work with founders, small leadership teams and growing businesses to turn ambitious ideas into well-executed projects, events and operational systems. If something is complex, has lots of moving parts, or needs someone to step in and make it run, that is where I come in.

I started out as a VA. For the first few years, that label made sense. But over time, the work I was doing outgrew it. I was not managing inboxes. I was managing programmes, producing international retreats, coordinating large-scale events, and building the operational backbone of other people's businesses. At some point, the title stopped fitting.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of operations, project delivery, systems and event production. I work just as comfortably with a solo founder planning their first retreat as I do managing a national programme with dozens of stakeholders. The approach is always the same: structure, clarity and calm delivery.

Before freelancing, I spent over a decade in corporate roles spanning operations, events and marketing management. That background gave me the foundation. Seven years of running my own business gave me the ability to apply it in fast-moving, founder-led environments where things need to work and there is no time for slow decision-making.

In 2025, I delivered over 100 events, managed a seven-figure public sector culture change programme, a conference with some huge leaders within retail, sport and hospitality sectors, and coordinated business retreats across Europe and the Middle East. 

Alongside my client work, I also run Freelance Mums Club, where I help millennial working mums translate their professional skills into freelance careers. It is the education side of everything I have learnt building my own business.
